More than 60 photographs from the Museum collections provide the backdrop to a dramatic voice over by the Museum’s Associate Curator, Stephen Fagin, who draws upon over 35 oral history interviews.

The Museum’s collection of civil rights materials includes historic photographs of Dallas’ Piccadilly Cafeteria desegregation protests in 1964, oral histories with members of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee, as well as a civil rights training handbook and activist support poster. Collections Manager Lindsey Richardson shared these amazing, rarely-seen items.
