Meet the Museum – Collections Spotlight: Civil Rights

The Museum’s collection of civil rights materials includes historic photographs of Dallas’ Piccadilly Cafeteria desegregation protests in 1964, oral histories with members of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee, as well as a civil rights training handbook and activist support poster. Collections Manager Lindsey Richardson shared these amazing, rarely-seen items.
