Curator Stephen Fagin hosts a Living History Program in the South Gallery this month, with special guest Jan Sittel. Jan was a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School on November 22, 1963. She went with friends to Dallas Love Field where, standing along the fence line, she shook hands with the Kennedys and the Johnsons. The sign Jan waved at the airport is currently on display within the Two Days in Texas special exhibition on the seventh floor.
Visitors will have a chance to speak with Jan and Stephen after the program. This program is the first in a series that will take place on the last Friday of each month through September.
