Roger Staubach Oral History
Videotaped oral history interview with Roger Staubach. A legendary Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Staubach helped to rehabilitate the post-assassination image of Dallas as part of "America's Team" in the 1970s. He previously had several personal encounters with President Kennedy while attending the U.S. Naval Academy and played in the 1963 Army-Navy game dedicated in memory of the late president. Staubach, who served in the Vietnam War, received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2018. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, TX on October 31, 2019 by Curator Stephen Fagin.
