Photograph from the set of Oliver Stone's "JFK" in Dealey Plaza

Photograph taken by Dallas resident Lovita Irby during the filming of Oliver Stone's movie "JFK" in Dealey Plaza. The image shows actors portraying assassination eyewitnesses reacting to shots fired at the president. Actors can be seen on the grassy verge on the north side of Elm Street, watching the replica presidential limousine as it moves toward the triple underpass. Oliver Stone, in agreement with the city of Dallas, had temporary signs made and installed in Dealey Plaza to return the scene to its 1963 appearance - an example of this can be seen in the Stemmons Freeway sign to the left of center in this picture.
