Audio oral history interview with Max Womack. A state trooper with the Texas Highway Patrol in 1963, Womack was assigned to the Dallas Trade Mart for the scheduled presidential luncheon. A few days later, he was assigned guard duty for Governor John Connally during his recuperation at Parkland Memorial Hospital.Interview conducted via telephone on June 21, 2010 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is twenty minutes long.
