Jim Bowles Oral History
Videotaped oral history interview with Jim Bowles. A longtime Dallas County sheriff (1985-2005), Bowles was supervisor of the Dallas Police Department radio division in 1963. Beginning in the 1970s, he researched the controversial acoustics evidence investigated by the House Select Committee. Bowles was interviewed by and consulted with assassination researchers about the acoustics evidence several times over the years.Interview conducted at Sheriff Bowles' office in Dallas on September 14, 1993 by Wes Wise and Bob Porter. The interview is three hours and five minutes long.
