Curatorial Note:

Five days prior to this oral history with Jarrold "Jerry" Cabluck, I had the pleasure of interviewing his brother, Harry Cabluck, at his home in Austin. Harry and Jerry were both photographers at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in 1963, although Harry was employed at the time by the Associated Press. The two brothers captured a number of memorable images before and after the Kennedy assassination, including Jerry's notable aerial photographs of Dealey Plaza just hours after the shooting. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
