In the upper right of this photograph, holding a camera to his chin, is Clint Grant, assistant chief photographer at The Dallas Morning News. Standing to Grant's right, wearing a tie, is New York Times reporter Tom Wicker. - Stephen Fagin, Associate Curator
In the lower left portion of images 1989.100.0015.0006 - 1989.100.0015.0008, the shadow of the photographer holding his camera aloft to take the picture is clearly visible. Based on the shape of the camera, the shape of his head and the characteristic way he is holding a cigarette in his right hand, the shadow suggests that the photographer of this picture (and thus the other pictures on this negative strip as well) is Bob Jackson.
