The image shows Dallas Police Public Information officer Glenn King speaking with reporters in the third floor hallway of the Dallas Police Department headquarters on the morning of November 23, 1963. Nelson Benton, a CBS reporter can be seen on the left. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. This image is labeled #5 on section 1 of negative strip 42.Black and white; HorizontalThe old TMS record for the images on this negative strip did not identify a photographer. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in June and July 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that it is not possible to say at this time who took the photos. The old records said 11-23-63 so I updated the records to reflect this new information.
