This image shows a group of Secret Service agents and police officers standing beside the presidential limousine at Parkland Hospital on November 22, 1963. The top has been put back on the convertible limousine. The images on this negative strip were taken by one of two Dallas Times Herald staff photographers at Parkland Hospital that day: John Mazziotta or Eamon Kennedy. It is unknown which of the two men took these pictures. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. The image is labeled #5 on section 1 of negative strip 16.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip did not identify a photographer. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in June and July 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that while the specific photographer cannot be identified, we do know it was one of two men: There were two DTH photographers at Parkland Hospital that day who stayed for the press conference - Eamon Kennedy and John Mazziotta. One of them took these photos. Bob Jackson, who was at Parkland earlier, was not present at the press conference, which appears in the last frames on this negative strip.
