The Secret Service agent at the lower left is Don Lawton, who appears in the live TV broadcast of the motorcade's departure. Lawton, who was scheduled to remain at Love Field and not travel with the motorcade, jokingly shrugged his hands as the cars left, leading conspiracy theorists to falsely conclude Kennedy's security was compromised. - Gary Mack, Curator
