The two women in this image are deeply stricken by the news of President Kennedy's death. Like many others, they had gathered outside Parkland Hospital after the shooting, hoping to hear that the president would be fine. This image of their emotional reaction is one of the most affecting images in the Museum's collection. If you are able to help us identify the women in the photo, we would be deeply grateful to hear from you. We have always wanted to be able to learn their names. - Lindsey Richardson, Curator of Collections
