Deacon Bronson Havard Oral History

Videotaped oral history interview with Deacon Bronson Havard. Havard was editor of the student newspaper at Texas Tech University in 1963. Beginning in 1970, as a reporter for the Dallas Times Herald, he covered the controversy surrounding the fate of the Texas School Book Depository building. Havard was inspired by President Kennedy to become a civil rights activist. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on August 3, 2010 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and four minutes long.
