David Moore Oral History
Videotaped oral history interview with David Moore. Five years old in 1963, Moore recalls seeing the Zapruder film for the first time in a high school history class in the mid-1970s. His late father, Dean Moore, a local political activist and NAACP volunteer, attended the Dallas Trade Mart luncheon.Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on July 26, 2022 by Stephen Fagin. In both of his Museum oral histories, David discusses his late father, Dean Moore (January 28, 1929 - July 29, 2008). A native of Brownwood, Texas, Dean Moore served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In addition to his political and civil rights activism, he was the first personnel director at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
