A longtime contributing editor at Vanity Fair and a former New York Times reporter, Margolick is the author of The Promise and the Dream: The Untold Story of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy (2018). He was eleven years old at the time of the Kennedy assassination in 1963.
