Robert Mayer Oral History
Videotaped oral history interview with Robert Mayer. A politically active Democrat in Dallas, Mayer campaigned for John F. Kennedy and helped organize his 1960 visit to the city. In 1963, he lobbied for tickets for local Kennedy supporters to the bipartisan Dallas Trade Mart luncheon, which he attended on the day of the assassination. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on July 22, 2004 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-nine minutes long.
