Robert Decherd Oral History
Videotaped oral history interview with Robert W. Decherd. From 1987 to 2013, Decherd served as chairman, president and CEO of the A.H. Belo Corporation, which owned six daily newspapers, including The Dallas Morning News, and twenty commercial broadcast television stations, including WFAA-TV in Dallas/Fort Worth. Decherd was a vocal supporter of The Sixth Floor exhibit during its final years of fundraising and development. Interview conducted at Mr. Decherd's office in Dallas on March 2, 2001 by Bob Porter and Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and twenty-six minutes long.
