This oral history was the first to be recorded following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Interestingly, although numerous interview subjects would subsequently reflect on their memories of 9/11 or draw comparisons to the Kennedy assassination, Mr. McGraw - speaking less than one month after 9/11 - never mentioned the attacks during this oral history. Mr. McGraw passed away on May 26, 2009. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
