Notecard with information compiled by the Dallas County District Attorney's Office about Aileen Shields, who was selected to serve on the Jack Ruby trial jury.(Ms. Shields's name is misspelled on the card.)The white unlined notecard has text typed in black:"No. 167AILLEEN [sic] B. No suits or judgments.No dependents."This object was originally part of the evidence collected by the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and specifically prosecutors Henry Wade and Bill Alexander during the investigation leading up to the Jack Ruby trial for the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald.

Aileen Shields, Juror #11 in the Ruby trial, passed away in March 1971 at the age of sixty-five. This card indicates that her date of birth was unknown to the Dallas County District Attorney's Office in 1964. However, their age estimate of fifty-eight was absolutely correct. Ms. Shields was born on August 30, 1905, making her fifty-eight years old at the time of the Ruby trial. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
In order to ensure its long-term care and preservation and to facilitate public access, the Dallas County District Attorney's Office placed their Jack Ruby Trial Collection (sometimes referred to as "the DA's Jack Ruby file") on long-term loan with The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in 2017. The Museum is working to make the entire collection accessible through this online collections database.
