Negative Strip 46 from the Dallas Times Herald Collection
One original 35 mm negative strip of Kodak Tri X Pan Film cut into two sections containing 8 images. The images were taken by a Dallas Times Herald staff photographer. The images were taken at Parkland Hospital on Sunday, November 24, 1963, after suspected assassin Lee Harvey Oswald was shot.Although the pictures on this negative strip have been attributed to photographer Andy Hanson in the past, curators have concluded that it is not possible at this time to say with any certainty who took them.
