Curatorial Note:

Immediately prior to this oral history on the seventh floor, musicians Hyun Jeong Lee, David Do, John Batchelder and Brooke Scholl went on their first group tour of The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. Along with composer Jesus Martinez, we all walked through the quiet exhibit prior to our public opening, and I tried to provide relevant context for each of the areas represented in Martinez's "The Sixth Floor." The artifact on display that attracted the most attention from the Julius Quarter was Lee Harvey Oswald's wedding ring. They were fascinated by the symbolic significance attached to such a small item. Portions of this group interview can be seen prior to the Presidents Day Concert recording on the Museum's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgHimwmgLJ0. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
