Curatorial Note:

Group oral histories are always exciting because inevitably more information is recalled and shared when prompted by the recollections of others. They are always more lively and colorful conversations. On July 20, 2016, I had the rare opportunity to conduct oral histories with five longtime friends, all of whom were juniors at North Dallas High School on November 22, 1963. In this interview, Jane Shettle, Ann Watley and Juanita Nañez all shared their memories. Immediately prior to this recording, I interviewed their classmates Judy Moseley and Rhonda Shettle. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
