35mm Kodachrome II color slide, #20 of 20 images, taken by Jay Skaggs from the sidewalk at the northwest corner of Elm and Houston Streets. This image shows Lieutenant J.C. "Carl" Day holding the rifle found on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository. The picture is a double exposure, a common occurrence with the Argus C3 camera. Skaggs forgot to advance the film after taking the previous photograph. The other image is apparently taken from Main Street looking northeast toward the north peristyle of Dealey Plaza and the Records Building.
