The image shows Dallas Police detectives inside the Homicide and Robbery Bureau at the Dallas Police Department headquarters late on Friday November 22nd, or early in the morning of November 23, 1963.The photographer took this picture through the glass of the office door. Partial words from the end of the department's title - "Robbery Bureau" - are visible at the top of the image. A faint reflected image of a man standing in the hallway next to the photographer appears on the right part of the picture.
