The entrance marquee contains posters advertising the performers, Chris Colt, Beverly Oliver, Toni Turner, Toi Rebel and Artie Brooks. The sign taped to the door glass reads 'Closed Tonight Only'. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. This image is labeled #19 on section 3 of negative strip 32.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip indicate that the photographer was William Beal. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in June and July 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that Beal did indeed take these pictures. He was accompanied by journalist Vivien Caslteberry, whose oral history confirms him as the photographer.
