"Rusty" Robbins.The images on this negative strip were taken by one of two Dallas Times Herald staff photographers at Parkland Hospital that day: Andy Hanson or Eamon Kennedy. It is unknown which of the two men took these pictures.

The Dallas police officer on the left, holding the shotgun, is Weldon E. "Rusty" Robbins. Robbins, an acquaintance of Jack Ruby, had worked crowd control on Main Street during the presidential motorcade on Friday. He was sent to Parkland Memorial Hospital on guard duty shortly after the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald. Robbins recorded an oral history with The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in 2003. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
