Original 35mm black and white negative taken by Dallas Times Herald staff photographer William Allen. This image shows President Kennedy in Fort Worth waiting to speak on the morning of November 22, 1963 in the parking lot at the Hotel Texas. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. This image is labeled #10 on section 3 of negative strip 1.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip attributed the photographs to William Allen. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in June and July 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that this attribution is correct.
