Foam-core-mounted House Select Committee on Assassinations investigation display F-166. This visual was displayed and used as evidence during the House Select Committee hearings.This display is an enlargement of a black and white photograph of Lee Harvey Oswald while he was in the U.S. Marine Corps. The background of the image shows his height in feet and inches. In the bottom right corner is a label sticker that reads: "JFK Exhibit" and hand-written in red ink "F-166."This image is displayed on page 131 in Volume I, and page 388 in Volume IV of the "Investigation of the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy" by the "Hearings before the Select Committee on Assassinations of the U.S. House of Representatives, Ninety-Fifth Congress, Second Session", and was exhibited before the Committee on September 6 and 25, 1978.

Lee Harvey Oswald joined the U.S. Marine Corps on October 24, 1956, less than one week after his seventeenth birthday. His older brother, Robert Oswald, signed the necessary paperwork as his guardian since Lee was still underage.
