Dr. Weiner first shared his childhood recollections of being at Dallas Love Field in a WFAA-TV interview with his friend, journalist Quin Mathews, at the twenty-fifth anniversary of the assassination in 1988. I met Dr. Weiner years later at the Legacies Dallas History Conference in 2013 and was fascinated by his account of November 22, 1963. In the years since, he has been a great friend and supporter of the Museum and has attended a number of public programs and special events. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
