Few people documented Dealey Plaza in the 1960s better than the late George Reid. In film and photographs, he captured some remarkable and historic images, including flowers in the plaza in the days following the assassination, Marguerite Oswald visiting the plaza on Mother's Day in 1964, a 1967 pro-Vietnam War demonstration in Dealey Plaza, and the construction of the John F. Kennedy Memorial in 1969-70. Several of his images can be seen in the online collections database, as well as two 8mm color home movie reels: https://emuseum.jfk.org/objects/15499. Mr. Reid passed away on March 15, 1999. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
