Dr. Lenneal Henderson Oral History

Videotaped oral history interview with Dr. Lenneal Henderson. While attending the University of California, Berkeley, Henderson met several key civil rights figures, including Stokely Carmichael and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. After speaking with King in 1967, Henderson became active with the Poor People’s Campaign. He was part of the Resurrection City encampment in Washington, D.C. and attended meetings with government officials in 1968. Interview conducted over Zoom on June 14, 2021 by Curator Stephen Fagin. The interview is 1 hour and 21 minutes long.
