David Ritz Oral History

Videotaped oral history interview with David Ritz. An award-winning author of more than fifty books, including a number of collaborative autobiographies of musicians and entertainers, Ritz graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas. Working for the Sam Bloom Advertising Agency in 1963, he was present at the Dallas Trade Mart luncheon on November 22, 1963. Interview conducted at the Dallas Public Library on April 30, 2016 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-nine minutes long.

In addition to Mr. Ritz, the Museum has recorded a number of oral histories with former students at Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas. Other Jefferson alumni in the Oral History Collection include Alan Abrams, Judy Bergstrom, John Carpenter, Betty Duke-Ruhd, Janet Fordham, Richard Gump, Betty Jarrell, Don McDonald, Jerry Patton, Carolyn Roderick, George Sickler, Jan Sittel, William Ward Warren and 1960s schoolteacher Katherine Clayton.
