One 35mm color image on Kodachrome Transparency slide of a Cedar Springs shrine sign reading, "To Mrs. John F. Kennedy/ We dedicate this museum here~/ With all of its dolls from far & near;~/ And every setting, scene and flower~/ To the queenly heroine of the hour!" The sign is surrounded by flowers. This slide is in a cardboard mount, and handwritten on the slide in black ink is the number "28" in the bottom right corner. At the top of the image handwritten in black ink is "Cedar Springs Shrine Sign,” in red ink "AS," and in blue ink "CU." At the bottom of the slide stamped into the paper is, "MADE IN U.S.A.” A date stamp is printed in red text above this "APR 64D," and to the right the number "10." On the emulsion side of the slide at the top in the left corner is the "Kodak" label and "PROCESSED BY" in red printed text. Opposite is "Kodachrome Transparency." George Reid was a longtime John F. Kennedy supporter who campaigned for him in Texas. He also filmed home-movie footage of President Kennedy at Love Field in Dallas, and in Dealey Plaza on several occasions in the 1960s.
