Many of these photographers documented the events of the Kennedy assassination and its aftermath in and around Dallas.

Unfortunately, with the death of Joe Laird in 2016, all of the photographers seen in this image have passed away. The Museum was fortunate to record oral histories with three: Clint Grant, Tom Dillard and Joe Laird. In addition, the Museum recorded an interview with Peggie Mazziotta, widow of the late John Mazziotta, and daughter, Jan Howes. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
