Videotaped oral history interview with Betty Culbreath. A longtime community leader, and director of Dallas County Health and Human Services for more than two decades, Culbreath became active in the civil rights movement while attending the University of Texas at Austin. She participated in protests and sit-ins, including a filmed altercation that aired on local television.Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on April 26, 2011 by Associate Curator Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and three minutes long.
