Curatorial Note:

The Sixth Floor exhibit that opened in 1989 was not identified as a museum. After strategic planning in the 1990s, the institution was renamed The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.Early ticket sales to The Sixth Floor exhibit were managed by the Ticketron company, a computerized ticketing system started in the 1960s and later purchased by Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc. in 1991. In December 1988, the Dallas County Commissioners Court approved of a 36-month contract with Ticketron to handle all tickets sales to The Sixth Floor exhibition.On opening day, February 20, 1989, admission was complimentary - as indicated by the $0.00 price on this ticket.
