Audio cassette of 1966 interviews conducted by Marvin Scott in Dallas
Audio cassette tape with recordings of interviews conducted in Dallas by reporter Marvin Scott of the Mutual Broadcasting System for radio programs commemorating the third anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy in November 1966. The interviews on this cassette include Dallas taxi cab driver Carl Parham and, notably, assassination eyewitness Abraham Zapruder. The tape is in a white plastic case with a label reading "Tapes for Dallas Revisited & Shadow of Doubt" Nov., 1966; Side One: Man in Street, Cabbie Carl Parham; Side Two: Cabbie Parham, Abraham Zapruder; Marvin Scott." The label has a black band at the top with an image of a cassette tape and "Scotch Brand, Magnetic Cartridge 271 (C-60) printed in red and white with a tartan band below with "3M Company."The cassette is pale gray with white labels on both sides. The labels both have "3M company, Scotch brand Magnetic Cartridge 271 (C-60)" printed in blue ink. One side of the tape has the number 1 written in black ink in the lower left corner and the other side has the number 2. "MIS/Cab/" is written in pencil on the label on the side marked 1 and "CAB/Zapruder" is written in black ink on the other side (with some crossed out pencil writing next to it).
