Audio oral history interview with John Abraham. A freshman at North Texas State University in 1963, Abraham briefly saw the Kennedy motorcade on its way to Parkland Memorial Hospital. As a part-time employee of the Abbey Rental Company, he helped pack up furnishings at the Dallas Trade Mart after the assassination. At the time, Abraham’s late father was a stereotyper at The Dallas Morning News printing plant. Interview conducted by telephone on March 22, 2019 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-five minutes long.

After immigrating to the United States, Abraham lived in both Mississippi and Texas, experiencing experienced years of prejudice and racism which also impacted his son, who was frequently mistaken for an African American. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
