Original 120mm black and white negative taken by Dallas Times Herald and United Press International staff photographer Darryl Heikes. This image shows Lee Harvey Oswald escorted by Dallas Police Detective Elmer Boyd as they walk down the third floor hallway in the Dallas Police Department headquarters heading for the jail elevator on the afternoon of November 22, 1963. The negative is on Kodak Safety Film. This image is labeled #2 on section 1 of negative strip 30.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip indicate that the photographer was Darryl Heikes.
