Image 6 from Negative Strip 19: Parkland of small crowd gathered outside Parkland Hospital, with a police officer in the foreground

Original 35mm black and white negative most likely taken by Dallas Times Herald staff photographer Bob Jackson. This image shows a Dallas police officer speaking into his radio outside of Parkland Hospital on November 22, 1963. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. The image is labeled #6 on section 1 of negative strip 19.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip indicate that the photographer might have been Bob Jackson. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in June and July 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that Bob Jackson is the most likely person to have taken the pictures but we are not 100% certain he did.
