This image shows people in the crowd outside Parkland Hospital reacting to the news of President Kennedy's death on November 22, 1963. The images on this negative strip were taken by a Dallas Times Herald staff photographer. There were three photographers at Parkland Hospital that day: John Mazziotta, Bob Jackson and Eamon Kennedy. It is unknown which of the three took these pictures. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. The image is labeled #18 on section 4 of negative strip 15.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip did not identify a photographer. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in June and July 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that while the specific photographer cannot be identified, we do know it was one of three men: There were three DTH photographers present at Parkland Hospital that day - Eamon Kennedy, Bob Jackson and John Mazziotta. One of them took these photos.
