Police Chief Jesse Curry is the man in a suit and tie who is not wearing a hat, standing in front of the open doorway on the far side of the room. Darryl Heikes and another, unidentified, Dallas Times Herald photographer attended the midnight press showing. It is not known which of the two photographers took this picture.
