Videotaped oral history interview with Evadeane Peters. During the 1950s, Peters was chairman of the Republican Party of Rockwall County in Texas. Although not a supporter, she went to Dallas Love Field and shook hands with President and Mrs. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Her political views later changed during the Civil Rights Movement.
