Videotaped oral history interview with Frances McElvaney. Wife of Rev. Bill McElvaney, a prominent civil rights and peace activist in Dallas, Frances McElvaney became locally involved in the women's rights movement in the late 1960s. As part of this effort, she co-founded an education program for young women that was taught at Northaven United Methodist Church in Dallas. Interview conducted at Mrs. McElvaney's home in Dallas on January 14, 2008 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-six minutes long.
