Videotaped oral history interview with Jan Sanders. The widow of Judge Barefoot Sanders, Sanders was with Judge Sarah T. Hughes at the Dallas Trade Mart on November 22, 1963, and later traveled with her to Washington, D.C., for President Kennedy's funeral. A longtime community leader, who volunteered during the 1960 Kennedy campaign, Sanders was a noted social rights activist in the 1960s and 1970s. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on November 28, 2016, by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and eight minutes long.

In addition to this 2016 recording, Ms. Sanders also recorded a videotaped oral history at The Sixth Floor Museum on January 31, 2006. Her late husband, Judge Barefoot Sanders, recorded an oral history in 1995 and participated in videotaped programs at the Museum in 1999 and 2004.
