Belt buckle from the uniform of a member of the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard
Belt buckle worn by SA (Seaman Apprentice) Lee J. Turner, who was a member of the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard during services held the weekend of the Kennedy assassination. On the evening of November 22, 1963, Turner served as a body bearer at Andrews Air Force Base and helped remove President Kennedy's casket from Air Force One to a waiting ambulance. During the funeral services for President Kennedy on Monday, November 25, 1963, Turner marched in the procession to Arlington National Cemetery as part of the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard.
