Curatorial Note:

Although Judge Joe B. Brown's own courtroom was used for the pre-trial hearings in the Jack Ruby case, it proved too small to accomodate the news media and spectators anticipated during the actual trial. Instead Judge Frank Wilson gave Judge Brown use of his larger courtroom for the Jack Ruby trial in March 1964. This photo shows Brown's smaller courtroom. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
