Dick Wheeler Oral History

Videotaped oral history interview with Dick Wheeler. A Dallas radio and TV broadcaster, Wheeler was hired by Eddie Barker at KRLD just eleven days before the Kennedy assassination. On November 22, 1963, he was assigned to cover the president's breakfast meeting in Fort Worth and the Dallas Trade Mart luncheon for KRLD radio. Following the shooting, Wheeler spent the majority of the weekend at Dallas police headquarters.Interview conducted at Mr. Wheeler's home on September 20, 2006 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-five minutes long.
