Deputy Sheriff Raymond "Sonny" Fisher, wearing a white hat and riding his personal horse, Snuffy, was the only full-time Tarrant County deputy sheriff on horseback in 1963. Despite his youthful appearance, he was in charge of all of the other law enforcement on horseback outside the Hotel Texas. Fisher recorded a videotaped oral history in 2009 and has also participated in educational programming at the Museum. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
